I love playing piano at all kinds of events. I have played at countless weddings and holiday parties. I also play for large corporate events, charity fundraisers, VIP receptions, birthday parties, anniversaries and even funerals. Whatever the occasion, I will add that extra special touch that will make it an event to remember.
I can play solo piano or I can create ensembles with other musicians such as double bass, violin, viola, cello, saxaphone, etc. While a grand piano is always ideal, not all venues have one available. If this is the case, I have a keyboard and sound system I can bring. I can even arrange a piano rental and delivery if you desire.
When you hire me to play for your event, you can relax knowing that you have hired a professional with 20 years of experience. I have a vast array of repertoire to choose from and I can learn new songs quickly. My manager, Kim, and I will answer any questions you have, provide guidance and work with you to ensure that the music for your event meets or exceeds your expectations. Here is what you can expect when you work with us:
~Once a fee has been agreed upon, we will provide you with a formal contract that outlines all of the details of your event in writing.
~A phone consultation to discuss the music for your event. We will discuss your personalities, the venue, any themes and the type of guests attending. This is a collaborative process where we will listen to what you have in mind as well as provide suggestions based on our years of experience. I recommend taking a look at my repertoire lists at the bottom of this page to get the ideas flowing. You can listen to a large selection of my repertoire by navigating through the "LISTEN" menu.
~If there is a special song you want me to play and I don't already know it, I will learn it for the occasion.
~If applicable, we will go over cues for the bride's entrance and recessional.
~You can be assured that I will show up on time and will be dressed professionally. I usually wear a suit, but depending on what is appropriate, I can wear a tuxedo or dress more casually. If you have a specific request such as "wear a red tie," I'm happy to accommodate - just let me know!
~If you are looking for something unique and original, I have some beautiful music I have written specifically for the bride's walk down the aisle and the recessional.
~Would you like something extra special created just for you? With enough advance notice and for an additional fee, I can write an original piece of music for your event!
