Perfection
Back in 1999, my friend Brad came to me with these powerful lyrics and started singing a bit. I immediately started playing chords in a rock rhythm along with him. Perfection was organically written in a matter of minutes. We had a band back then and eventually played it; with guitar solos and all. Since then, I developed a solo piano version. I still play it within the context of a rock band and I really enjoy building this song to it's climax; the peak of the guitar solo!
